Sara is a solicitor in London South Bank University’s Legal Advice Clinic, Council Member of the Law Society of England & Wales (LSEW); Past President Westminster & Holborn Law Society; Past President South London Law Society; worked 15 years in Law Centres, 5 years in legal aid firms, 9 years at the University of Law and joined LSBU in 2012. In 2016 Sara was made Honorary QC for her work in human rights, pro bono and clinical legal education; 2017 was first female President of the European Bars Federation (FBE), member FBE Human Rights Commission since 2006. Member of the LSEW Women in Law Core Group, campaigns for Women in Leadership. 2018 Chair Law Society’s Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
