Generation Female is a non-profit association set up to empower and support women leaders in their personal and professional capacities through flagship events and conferences such as the Generation Female Global Summit, as well as educational content and the establishment of a global membership network.

OUR MISSION

2020 was a turning point for all too many of us. For founder Anna Shpak, 2020’s “new normal” made it increasingly hard to ignore the disproportionate challenges faced by women in the workplace and in their homes, and was a clear reminder that more needed to be done.

Established in July 2020 in Milan, Italy, Generation Female is a non-profit association set up to empower and support women leaders in their personal and professional capacities, through flagship events and conferences such as the Generation Female Global Summit, as well as educational content and the establishment of a global community.

Through our projects and platforms, Generation Female strives to create awareness of the gender burden shouldered by women, promote gender inclusiveness and equity, as well as combat gender-based discrimination in civil society and across different professions.

OUR VALUES

Our values underpin and guide the work and actions of our association.

Service and Community

Service to our community lies at the core of our efforts. We are driven by our mission to serve and support current and future women leaders, and we ensure that our resources and assets are used to achieve a positive social impact and benefit our community.

Trusted Stewardship

We recognize that the trust placed in us as a non-profit association is something we cannot take for granted or compromise. In all that we do, we act with integrity, transparency, accountability and strong governance.

Inclusiveness and Diversity

As an association driven by a mission to improve gender equity, inclusiveness and diversity are values of fundamental importance to us within the association and in all our activities, and we strive to “walk the talk” to the best of our abilities.
