Francesca Airoldi is one of the most highly esteemed and admired professionals in the world of communication, publishing and the fashion system. She started her career at a very young age with work experience at international advertising agency Cesanamedia.
In 2003, she joined the Condé Nast group as Fashion Manager of Vanity Fair, later changing roles to become Advertising Manager in 2006. Thanks to her talent and determination, in 2009 she was promoted to Fashion & Luxury Commercial Director for multiple publications.
From 2011, Francesca took on the role of Group Publisher Director for Vogue Italia and Glamour, working closely with Franca Sozzani in developing the Vogue and Glamour brand across various platforms and in putting together major events such as Vogue Fashion’s Night Out, the Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience, the Vogue Talents project and the Photo Vogue Festival, along with countless other communication and co-marketing activities.
2017 marked her move to General Sales and Marketing Director for Condé Nast Italia, where she was in charge of all the central structures of the brands, marketing, the development of new business lines, the sales network and events. Thanks to her keen vision, important social media projects such as Shareable and the Social Talent Agency came to fruition.
In 2019, she was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Condé Nast Italia, also taken over direction of the group’s communication.
Since July 2020, she has taken on the role of Chief Revenue Officer.
