4. Communication
Whereas the United Nation’s Gender Inequality Index (GII) measures the human development costs of gender inequality, our Generation Females’ Gender Index (GFGI) measures the potential gains in human development through gender equality. Women’s equal participation and leadership in political and public life are essential in addressing critical issues.
Progress in resolving those issues begins with promoting gender equality across five dimensions: female leadership and an enlarged talent pipeline, equal pay and equal pay parity, an inclusive culture, pro-active sexual harassment policies, and pro-woman branding.
